I can remember my dad looking at a bunch of mods kicking a few rockers about, and saying those long haired beatniks all look like girls. You won't be like them will you, and within ten years I had a mohican.
I may have done something wrong I don't know, but I don't think the video exploited anyone.
Anyway did I tell you I'm old, and old people make mistakes, and there have been enough threads about 'I mustn't tell my granny it would upset her,' that I think you young people should now abide by the rules and be polite to us old folks, smile politely and never point out our shortcomings, Just like what Shell B says.
Anyway how would I know?

Here we tended to have punch-ups between the Adelaide mods and the Elizabeth mods. (Brits who rode Vespas). I was an Adelaide mod; stovepipe trousers,corduroy, paisley ties and Beatle boots. I would avoid the fight, go back inside and pinch some bloke's girlfriend if I could.

In these actions you show yourself of the highest level of the elite, I to could never work out why some blokes liked getting to grips with other men, when there were girls about. But they would never put on a pink shirt.
Mod and rocker fight 65-6 one of the parks in London St James or Regents.

Mate at the time, I was so cool I was oblivious. (around half my pay went on clothes) I didn't wear pink either,but I DID have a royal purple ribbed cardie.
The drinking age was 21. Baby faced,tall and thin, (5'10", 10 stone) I could not get a drink anywhere. However,some girls thought I had wicked eyes and a cute bum.
