I disagree. We crucify him again as a demonstration that the human race has no need of gods. Given the opportunity to rewrite the Garden of Eden story, I'd have A&E telling God where to stick its apple and its petty test, and then walking voluntarily out of bondage. If this is an accurate indication of our destiny - and I'm a confirmed prophet, remember - I'd say the future of the human race is in good hands.
