Hey Min, Get Ready To Have A Field Day

So, what will preachers do this year, give an Easter Sunday sermon or an April Fool's joke?
This has never happened in all my life. The first Easter (as well as the first Christmas) was celebrated in Rome, is based on astrology and has never had squat doodle to do with Jesus except as the SUN of god. But christians still act like they're trying to take back what has never been theirs.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

They have entire congregations full of fools. It is something they are well practiced at.... regardless of the date.

Easter otta be on a Sabbath day Jesus would have recognized, like sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. It was good enough to Jesus, why Christians think they know better is a fucking mystery.

What amuses me is not the heresy of easter, but the lies the church tells for why it exists and why it's on the date that it is.

I don't think any christian actually believes the Dec. 25 is Jesus's actual birthday, anyone who knows anything about church history knows that it was the newly converted Roman Christians that incorporated their pagan practices into Christianity after the Jews (which included the Christian Jews) were expelled from Rome.
So what do you want Christians to do, tell the kids they'll no longer celebrate Christmas?
