Although I did make a mistake that this was the Xtian Forum - when it was ONLY a stupid religion forum - that the ancients CALLED their fairy tales gods "HE" does not make them sexual beings. It only shows the lack of respect ancients had for females

However - to be male or female is a "sexual" difference - and there is NO statement in either the Koran or the BIble that even implies the gods had sexual mates to be sexual with.

And since that is the case - they are actually NEUTER> Live with it - they are not real anyway

Thom...gods are very often ascribed a gender....Whether or not that means that a god actually -IS- a certain gender, or what gender means to a god, is laregly irrelevant, as you yourself have so adeptly pointed out- because they do not exist. Reproduction and sexuality are not interchangeable with gender, nor do they have any bearing on each other in and of themselves. If a god is refered to as "He", it is a he, if it is referrred to as a she, it is a "She".

(I wish Shell would show me whatever she knows about reproduction...lol)

If you look at the Greek or Roman Pantheon of gods - it is clear from the very beginning who is a male and who is a female based on their physical "equipment".

A "he" has male organs - and a "she" has female organs

THERE is NO place in the BIBLE or the Koran which shows a female god - which renders the idea of the god being male superfluous - the god is an "IT" - ie - neuter. In the xtian faith - there is existence of a son - without the prerequisite "mother" - if they were sexual beings.

They can call "IT" whatever they want - that does not make that characteristic true

Except when it isn't....someone wasn't paying attention in their comparative mythology. The god referred to in the bible is a He, again, not that this matters. I do recall there being a very juicy piece of scripture about "his" loins......if all the "He"s don't do it for you.

Yes, I'm very young, a virgin and I don't watch television. I also didn't realize that people with gender were all sexual. Kind of weird thing to learn about your perspective. Maybe you should be Catholic.
