Don't look at me like that. I live in SC. It's a fantasy to think that with current demographics, anyone but Romney will carry the state. SC is NOT a swing state. If you're someone that argues that voting for anybody but a major party candidate is a wasted vote because they don't have a chance to win, my vote is just as 'wasted' on Obama. The only way to send a message to the major parties that we are not happy with what they offer us that they will pay attention to is to show up and vote for someone else. GJ getting 2 million votes would be a drop in the bucket, but it would be a Third Party record and would at lease drive conversation on how the major parties can get that demographic to vote for their candidates instead. 
I'm going to hold my nose and vote for Obama and encourage everyone to do the same.
Yes, he's either a spineless wimp or a ingenious sellout but we all know voting for the lesser evil is a great American tradition so why stop now? I may show up at the polling place with a laundry clip over my nose.

Isn't it more likely that you suggest Jill Stein because you are committed to the goal of removing Barack Obama from office? Or, are you honestly encouraging people to vote for a candidate that openly calls for the redistribution of wealth and a vast socialized nanny state? Wouldn't you rather Obama in office than Jill Stein? He's much further to the right by any definition. Just politics, yeah?
