I'm far more emotionally connected to the Aussie soldiers who have been killed in Afghanistan,to the Aussies who died in the Bali bombing,to those who died in the recent bushfires (the worst natural disaster in our history) than I am to any number of dead Arabs or Americans for that matter. --An emotional response, which I neither explain nor attempt to justify.

Yes, it is in London. I was saying that I, for one, would mind if 'they' nuked France, it is a fantastic country. I then suggested Threadneedle as the place I would nuke. I thought that was what we were talking about, who we would nuke (if we were crazy). I could do without Israel as well, but to say so is a crime in my country... Please don't fink me out and make me do a human rights tribunal.
I appreciate your guys being honest about your feelings. You are allowed to de-value and de-humanize others, inasmuch as I am allowed to not. I think I can also call you names because of it, but only if I maintain my wit and composure.
Do you not agree that if we all tried to value strangers lives more, it might be a less violent and horrible world? Are my attempts worthy of recognition, or do you guys think I am deluded and crazy?

Maybe I'm too puritanical, but I do not find references to " nukeing" anybody remotely amusing.
 A man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?

No. I agree. I am only playing with Kyu. I don't want to nuke anyone, not even British bankers. It is a rude joke, and I commend you for calling it. It is not puritanical. I don't know of a better way to try to show Kyu how crazy he looks from over here, not that he cares, agrees, or if it even matters. It is crazy right? I am just picking on him playfully to show that it is crazy right? I didn't just get 'pwned' by Kyu again, did I?
We should have left the radioactive material in the ground where it belongs.

Let's get one thing straight ... I am not your friend nor am I ever likely to be one. Friendship means a great deal to me ... you are an acquaintance, a virtual and irritating one at that. We are not friends.
Who or what you want to nuke is your business ... I'm British, I hate the French, I think it was in the job description or something.

Most decent humour has an element of bad taste ... fortunately you do not dictate my morality or my humour and I think it's really amusing to contemplate the various ways that we could destroy France.
