I fucking love The Fifth Element. Don't you go dissin' that film, too. It took art direction from a comic book guy, so it ended up being like a live-action comic. Which I adored.

Movies That Should Have Been Epic

I wasn't dissin' The Fifth Element. I love that movie. It's not a serious sci fi movie, obviously. It's sci-fi comedy.

"The Tourist". How can a director who makes such a genius movie like "Das Leben der Anderen" (The lives of others) continue to make something so shit!

I can't be bothered looking through the thread to see what films have been mentioned, so if I repeat anything, suck on my Biggoron Sword.
Eragon should have been awesome. I read the book when I was pretty young, but the movie was so painful to watch. Dragon Ball Evolution... hah... well, Dragon Ball is my favourite manga and I knew the live action film was going to be atrocious, but I went to see it anyway. I must say that it is one of the most amusing things I have ever seen. Cunt

A direct sequel to blade runner, and Scott has also said that both alien and blade runner Ate in the same universe. There was an easter egg buried in the extras of Prometheus tying them together. The major offense to the theatrical cut was the ending. Here's my next one: LEGION (Exorcist III) Although I haven't read the book, I understand that Legion doesn't have an exorcism in it, and it was tacked into the movie at the studio's instance.  If they had trusted W.P.B. then they would have had another blockbuster like Exorcist I.
