Today is Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year... My kids are out of school today. I'm sick and want to crawl back to bed with my cold meds and sleep it off, but no... There's no school today and our babysitter has plans. Proof that god hates infidels? Perhaps. And why when I'm hale and healthy do the kids find joy in the simple things, playing with their Legos, reading stories, nice, calm, quiet things... Yet, when I'm ill it's all jumping and running and trying to slash each other with swords?? FML... I'm going to rally and take them to the zoo, they opened the new seal and sea lion exhibit... Plus there's always the pandas... Enough of my bitching, Happy Rosh Hashanah or something...

No parking at the zoo... Evidently the panda gave birth...
-so I shoved the kids out the door and drove away, with any luck the Panda will be feeling extremely maternal...and they'll be fine.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Seriously considered it... The last time we went to the zoo this summer they were talking about trading in our female panda because she wasn't breeding as often as they would like... Guess they aren't bitching about the lack of baby pandas now...

You see thats the trouble with conceiving children instead of adopting them. No returns.
When I decided I couldn't cope with being a Dad after a couple of months I returned mine for a half-price voucher for Dixons instead. Now I'm having trouble choosing between the new iphone or the plasma screen TV to fill the Indonesian child shaped hole thats been left in my heart. Oh wait, theres a new itelevision coming out soon. Problem solved. :-)

And the baby panda died :-(
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/23...07384.html Seriously, Washingtonians are WAY too concerned about the panda's reproduction, it's really kinda sick. (September 23, 2012 at 2:50 pm)festive1 Wrote: And the baby panda died :-( So we have a bear porn fetish. Problem?
