Good god no. I'm not a graphic designer, but I do have a moderately good sense of style.

I will admit to being something of a design snob, but there are just some things that I can't fathom how anyone thinks that looks good. RE: Art of the Day

I don't think my boyfriend would have "chosen" me if I didn't have a decent sense. He's pretty finicky about everything having to do with design in some way - from the aesthetics of a web page to the clothes he wears to the functionality and design of the tools we use.
We were having a rough time of it passing through some of the bittier towns before we hit the mountains yesterday...all those ghastly plastic and blow-up Halloween decorations... [shudder] (Point being - there are a lot of fucking tacky people on this planet)
This has been making the rounds on the geek sites - nice to know the artist is on deviantArt.
http://sculptorsteven.deviantart.com/art...%3Add&qo=3 I encourage you to click through to look at the process that went into this amazing sculpture, and give the artist page views (and favorites, if you're on dA).
I shared this on Facebook and G+ some time ago, but wanted to put it on here. It's rare that I enjoy more than a handful of pictures from any given gallery, and even more rare when I enjoy pretty much every single one. This is one of those galleries. This guy cracks me up.
Kezzyn Waits Unfortunately, 500px does not allow linking in such a way that I can provide picture previews on here, so I had to go round-about to provide you with one. Hopefully you'll click through to his page.
That should be the banner for the forum come Christmas... That santa is creepy.
Woah. He looks like a horror movie monster.

Porn for us Nikon whores
Nikon's Best Microscope Photos of 2012 Quote:For nearly four decades Nikon has been organizing its Small World microscope photography contest and this years’ entries are surely one of the best ever. 20 winning photographs were selected from nearly 2000 submissions for their originality, informational content and visual impact. The first place went to Jennifer Peters and Michael Taylor for showing the blood-brain barrier in a living zebrafish embryo, which Nikon believes is the first image ever to show the formation of this barrier in a live animal. If you click through, you can see the titles to all of these. |
