Yeah... and that whole parable about a rich man having an easier time entering heaven than a camel passing through the eye of a needle...
Being that Christianity is a global religion, let's use global standards. If you have running, clean water, regular access to food, and electricity, guess what? By global standards you, my friend, are a rich man. No heaven for you.
Big Grin

If Heaven was my end game I would be shaking in my boots..

A Relationship with God is what I want, and a relationship with is what He has seen fit to give me. (along with the wealth you speak of) So appearently, even if I do not have a place in heaven, I still get the relationship that I seek from God. And who knows maybe He will let me have a place here on Earth along with everyone else, after this life is over..

Santa and his reindeer are going to bring you presents too while the Easter bunny pulls chocolate eggs out of his ass for you to eat for all eternity.

I'm sorry, that's sick. Like DSM sick.

Has Drich's intelligence been drastically declining lately, or has he always been this stupid?

The true beauty of a self-inquiring sentient universe is lost on those who elect to walk the intellectually vacuous path of comfortable paranoid fantasies.

I don't get it...

You guys are aware that 'we' (meaning followers of Christ) aren't technically going to heaven right? After this age according to John's work in revelation God will wipe away the current Heaven and the current Earth, and start over. Heaven being the city or residence of God Himself. and the "New Earth." Is what you all have been referring to as 'heaven' your whole lives.

Would any of you like to see what the bible actually says about any of this? Or are you stuck on your current understanding of 'heaven' just like you are stuck on your current understanding of God? In that you have no room in your minds about anything God that you don't already think you know.

"You guys" switch what it must please you to call your minds so quickly and so often, it can be hard to keep up with exactly what it is you do believe.

It's not a thing to be proud of.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

So it has come to this. We're arguing about the name and location of the Christian fairytale land like if it matters.

Next up, where might Oz be located? Is it near the land of Narnia?
