The most epic episode of the entire series! No need to say more! Just watch it!

Laurie dieing was a bit of a surprise, but now I kinda wonder what's going to happen with the baby. I was also hoping T-Dawg would get a big of a bigger role before he got offed, but it just didn't happen.

Few more questions, with spoilers so I don't ruin anything for anyone though:

1) What ever happened to Carol? Did she die, too?

2) How is Daryl's brother going to play out in everything? Is he going to be the one who initiates hostilities between the now two groups of survivors?

3) What happens to the other inmates now? One of them even saved Rick's life when they had the opportunity to kill him.

Alright, here's my predictions (as completely unsubstantiated as they can possibly be.)

1) What ever happened to Carol? Did she die, too?

My bet is she shows up in a very inopportune time as a zombie.
I guess what they say is true: The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. (Sophie joke too soon?)

2) How is Daryl's brother going to play out in everything? Is he going to be the one who initiates hostilities between the now two groups of survivors?

The Merl/Daryl drama won't play out till the season finale. My guess is Merl will end up dying probably ironically in some selfless act to save his brother or Andrea. Or Daryl will be forced to kill his own brother to save a member of the team.

3) What happens to the other inmates now? One of them even saved Rick's life when they had the opportunity to kill him.

They got rid of the token black guy, Tdog. So obviously they're going to need to keep the new token black guy and they'll end up killing the other "harmless" prisoner cause he'll turn out to be some kind of rapist or something. TV shows love irony.

I like how Rick is devolveing into being less and less the main character of the plot.

Remember episode 1 in season 1? The lttle-girl-zombie right at the start who picked up her furtoy? Or the Mum-zombie of the first survivers Rick meets who keeps turning the doornob of the house she died in? The zombies who tried to get into that store in episode 2 of season 1 by using stones?

I like these kind of moments in zombie flicks. I like how in the original Dawn of the Dead: zombies are atracted to the mall because of "instinct" and how some play arround with a gun, when it is given to them. Or how in Land of the Dead "Big Dady" plays arround at his gas-station. (Although this kind of "Instinct-moment" was a bit overused in Land of the Dead.
Still, my point is, I would like to see more such moments in the series and somehow think they have been missing for the past two seasons.

Agreed. Those subtle nuances are noticed and appreciated.

I think it's all the little extras that give a show its heart when it comes time to kill people off. Whether they be zombie or otherwise, you need all the characters to seem like they're real in order to get the audience to care and eventually to love the show.

Yeah I have been avidly watching it since season one aired and have not missed an episode.It is a great series the third season is certainly the best so far.

Yeah I agree though I like the direction they are taking in regards to focusing on the zombies with how the Governors group are experimenting on them and how they are using them for entertainment.

Horrible cliffhanger in the last episode.


It seems as if in the future episodes of this season, more "humans" than zombies will be "killed" by "humans".

And I fear this season will end with a very very very mean cliffhanger.

The idea that comes from the Walking Dead seems to be that, post-apocalypse of zombies, it's not zombies that are the greatest threat, it's actually other human beings. I guess it makes sense.
