Zen and I are getting married for the right reasons (in our opinions)BECAUSE we love each other so much that to think that "the other" will be left homeless/ without resources" is just not acceptable. Current LEGAL measures are only marriage to ensure the continuance of the partner.
Really the religious are to blame for the current conundrum as (far as i can understand) they instituted this holier than thou right to inheritance in the first place which has be ubiquitously carried over into law
