At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

The only thing incredible about this testimony is it's taken 12 pages so far (and counting) to explain to Drich why having a bad dream is unconvincing evidence of anything.

And if only Christians can love him, how important to you is it that non-Christians are lacking that form of love?

Romans 9 tells us that not all are called to love Christ. For we can not love Him unless we are called. We are also told not all who are called will heed that call. So to answer your first question No not everyone has the ablity to Love God.

Then you asked can only christians love Him?" My answer their isnot all Christians do. We are told by Christ in the book of Matthew not all who claim 'christianity' love Christ. Some 'christians' love the idea or philosphy of Christianity more than Christ Himself.

To answer your last question. 'we' are not born with a lack of love or with an intrinsic ablity to love God. We have all been given a measure or an oppertunity (unlless you are a apart of the group of Jews Romans 9 is speaking about) To love God. We are not 'born' Christian, even though we may be born into christianity. To be a Christian one must choose to be faithful to what measure of love he has been given. We are told all we need is a mustard seeds worth of faith and God will move mountains for us. If God is willing to move a mountain for you then how much easier is it for Him to give you the Love you need if you simply ask for it, with the mustard seed of faith we all were given?

Thanks for answering my question, I really am not looking for a jab. If I ever jab, it's a joke.

Your so vain I bet you think that post was about you, don't you? Big Grin

If the message does not apply then don't feel the need to answer... Unless you do think that the post who was addressed to someone else was indeed about you.

This 'dream' wasn't meant to convince any of you of anything. It is an example of the 'personal evidence' God is willing to provide to anyone who will simply a/s/k

Drich as I thought, you chickened out and didn`t answere the question. You accused someone of being a nazi and when not being capable of bringing proof you ran off!

I would have realy, rather had an answere, no matter how silly and how easily debunked, instead of this display of dishonest cowerdess.

If I really wanted to smear christianity as a bunch of nutbags I'd probably relate a story like this myself Drich..and I'd probably even pretend that it actually happened to me........
(but everytime i get a hankering to smear christianity, I find that christians have already done so in a way that leaves me feeling inadequate)

Sorry about that, it won't let me edit.

Quote:That is not an answere to why his reasoning is supposidly "nazi-reasoning"
I identified the reason I said what I said in post 94. You have confused yourself. The reason I posted that is because I know Cinjin's agruements, and that they generally follow the hate, and distain that Nazi propaganda was kn own for.

Quote:Answere chicken!
Again, asked and answered.

Quote:I resist the urge to point out the fact that when you wrote "idiot" to accuse me of being an idiot, you wrote it as idoit
..And i also resisted (and appearently failed) the urge to define the words for you.

id·i·ot   [id-ee-uht] Show IPA
noun
1.
Informal . an utterly foolish or senseless person.

ig·no·rant
   [ig-ner-uhnt] Show IPA

adjective
1.
lacking in knowledge or training; unlearned: an ignorant man.

2.
lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact: ignorant of quantum physics.

I made an Ig-no-rant Mistake. You were being foolish/sensless or you were just being stubborn.

Quote:How is it the opposite, you wrote:
Quote: You believe 'reason' to be the natural conclusion of observal phenomena, but in realitiy 'reason' is the use of natural phenomena to disproove God. If God is indeed the God of the natural universe then Natural phenomena would be the very processes He would use to complete whatever task He set out to complete.

Now my english isnt the best, but to me this clearly says "God is behind the natural process so reasoning out how it works isnt needed".

I also Go on to say that Just because we did not know how things work 3000 years ago it doesn't mean we weren't meant to know.

Quote:what is the point of that? how does this show how cinjin uses "nazi reasoning"
You ask:

Quote:I absolutly dont see how you bring the nazi-accusation into this. jet nazi propaganda! Have you ever seen or heared nazi propaganda?!
I gave you 4 examples of Nazi Propaganda. So yes i have seen or heard Actual Nazi propaganda.

How does it apply? The same hate and bigotry (Paired with 'facts') used in Nazi propaganda, is being mirrored by how cinjin pairs facts with distain and hate for God.

Quote:No I am saying: "those who lie about historical facts to demonise people in todays sociial debates are moronic assholes of the worst kind."
If you cant prove that Cinjin uses "nazi reasoning" you are one of these moronic assholes, unless you apologise to him!
Tongue I am what I am.

Quote:Can you back up that statement that these minority groups use their history exlusively for their purpose?
ROFLOL Yes, anyone who has lived in America (outside of the tourist destinations) can tell you this.

Quote:Who are you to judge when historicly unjust things have been repaied?!
What are you talking about?

Quote:Those who missuse historical crimes to demonise their opponents on a social level are doomed to be seen as vail idiotic dishonest morons - and are ironicaly not that different from the historic subjects they use!

ROFLOL
Crazy germans.

So because i drew a paralell between Nazi's using 'facts/propaganda' to spread their hate and condemn those who do not accept their 'facts' as presented, and Cinjin doing the very same thing, Your saying that is somehow the same as me putting jews into camps during WWII?
ah, no.

I did not call anyone a Nazi, I simply pointed out He was using a propaganda tatic made popular by the Nazis. If this makes me a bad person, then I am a bad person.
