Shena Hardin is my new favorite judge:
"A woman caught on camera driving on a sidewalk to avoid a Cleveland school bus that was unloading children will have to stand at an intersection wearing a sign warning about idiots.
Court records show a Cleveland Municipal Court judge on Monday ordered 32-year-old Shena Hardin to stand at an intersection for two days next week. She will have to wear a sign saying: "Only an idiot drives on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus.""

Our towns Mayoress decided it was a good idea to drive down the railway at a level crossing after mistaking it for a set of crossroads -_-

Only an idiot would make a woman wear a sign around her neck at an intersection, so more accidents can be caused by drivers trying to read it.

Wait, was she swerving out the way because she was going to hit it? Or generally just trying to get round it by going onto the pavement?
If the former then the ruling is pretty harsh surely, if the latter, it's a pretty childish ruling which as chuck says could actually cause more bloody accidents. Also why the fuck am I reminded of judge judy with this story...

She should just do like Apple did with their uk site and make a positive spin on it, write it in very small letters at the bottom of the sign, and distract drivers from the sign with cleavage.

No, she had been routinely (for several days at least) driving around a stopped schoolbus (loading handicapped kids) by going onto the sidewalk in front of a daycare center. Since it had been happening for some time, the bus driver alerted the police and made a video of her doing it.
