If you are so confident that you know what women want, why does this 'war on men' frighten and upset you?

Is it, perhaps, that you fear a world in which the ideal man is not a power tool-using cave ape because you know that a world in which the ideal man is intellectual and sensitive is a world in which your only relationship would be with Rosie Palms?

My "experience" shows me that most humans in the Western Civilized world would rather have a partner who pulls their own weight, regardless of what that is or how they do it, as long as both partners agree on the plan. If that means women are breadwinners instead of vice versa, who gives a fuck? (beyond the religious right and Fox News, of course)

I've been married for nearly 15 years longer than you have jonb and my wife hasn't walked out on me either.

Just kidding. I'm coming up on 30 years with my second missus but I was almost 30 when we got together. I'm sure if I were to do it again I could do it even better. Practice does make perfect. But I don't want a change unless she dies. I won't put up with her if she stops breathing .. though it would be a lot quieter around here.

Ha Ha...Looks like you and I are about the same age...we're not really so old, at least that's what I keep telling myself....then you definitely know what it means that years of experience is the best educator....so many youngsters here with childish opinions about things they haven't even began to experience....I would love to see their opinions about 15-20 years from now.
