Bahahahaha
By the way, A Theist - you keep harping on what women want - I do believe the article was addressing what MEN want. I'm refuting the claim that men want someone more "feminine" in the ways they describe.
But do go on telling us women what we want. It's most enlightening as to your aged mindset.

Leftist kool-aid. hahahahahahahahahahaha
Hey, um - I think every woman on this forum and every woman outside of your twatty christian forums probably wants a guy who helps with the kids, cooking, cleaning, etc, even if it's not their full time job. That's part of being in a modern household, not being part of a 50's ideal that doesn't exist any more for a reason. I'm not saying you have to respect it at all...I just made a statement of fact based on your post of an inexperienced and naive worldview...

I'm not implying that either, but the majority of women don't want a stay at home jobless house husband...sure, women want a man who can help with the kids, the cooking and cleaning, but mostly they want a man who has a job and who is contributing to the financial support of the household in addition to knowing how to use tools, do repairs to the house, keep up with the yard work, knows how to work on the car,...this has nothing to do with Christian forums, this is everything to do with what women expect from a husband. I don't know of a single woman who would tolerate a man who just wants to be a house husband and one that she can push around...but you go ahead and choose you a man based on your current worldview...I would really be interested in knowing how that works out....I predict that guy is not going to last long with you.

How much time did you spend as a female amigo, or, more aptly, as the majority of females? What was that like? Who kept your pecker for you while you were away?
On a slightly (very very slightly) more serious note. I, personally, have no fucking clue what any given female wants, let alone what the majority of them want. Even when I'm explicitly told what a single female wants I find it difficult to make heads or tails of the declaration. Whatever well you drank from that gave you such insight is of serious interest to men at large, I assure you....so if you wanted to share more about what the majority of females want with the rest of us -frequently in the dark on this issue- I would see it as a service to all man-kind. The line to draw water from -that- spring is going to be a long one....

People often choose their partners by what they see in them and what they contribute to the well-being of the other party involved.
Some want strong partners who get stuff done and don't hesitate wrestling bears to provide meat for the cave's table.
Some want partners they can take care of and pamper.
And all different shades between.
My point is: It's not mine to decide what people want, based on whatever propaganda or article I read.
People will make choices and necessarily live with it. Whether it's a gut reaction that draws them to a certain partner or a thinking and reasoning process.
I can't tell them what they need or want. Nor should I.

You're way too naive and inexperienced yet....it's absolutely nothing to do with the mindset of age, or age itself...this transcends age and mindsets...I've heard very many of the same complaints over the years from both younger and older women about the men they're hooked to....and most women share the same expectations what they want from a man.

No one said anything about being pushed around either. The problem is that the right wingers (see what I did) always conflate femininity with weakness, and anything they associate with weakness to be a feminine virtue. It's their self-sustaining cycle of bullshit.
And as you have neither asked about my experience nor determined my naivete except to assume it based on me disagreeing with you, I find you about as irrelevant as this article you posted.

Then maybe hanging out with a more diverse crowd would rectify that.

For what it's worth, in my personal experience. I can do all those "manly things". But none of those manly things that I can do light up the eyes of either my wife, the female members of my family, or just some random chick at the grocery store.....like the things I do in my dual capacity as "house husband". I can't remember the last time someone in my family asked me to help them with an oil change - but I get diapers and screaming children thrust at me pretty much non-stop. Something tells me that my value in their eyes might just be enhanced more by the one than the other (and let's face it, I'd rather be under a tractor than under the thumb of a two year old). If I stopped changing out spark plugs or hunting deer my wife isn't likely to leave me...if I stopped changing shitties....well.....we might have a problem.......
