The two are mutually exclusive. It can't be both. It's like saying the value of a constant is six and fifteen at the same time.
You mean like winning the lottery? They are not mutually exclusive, many improbable events are certainties. The post I'm responding to, for example. Hugely improbable, but simultaneously certain.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Improbably =/= impossible.

With infinite chances, it would also be a certainty.

They all boil down to "who designed the designer".

Which leads to an infinite regress and thus fails.

And I should just take your word for it why?

Nope. Don't actually believe it. Also didn't say they were omnipotent or could create the universe, just that they are undetectable and they make it rain. It is their magic that lets water evaporate. Prove otherwise. Or is this one of those 'so unlikely we shouldn't even consider it' things? (yeah, it is, even though a flying invisible magical unicorn is less extraordinary than a god)

Infinity does not mean that an event will certainly happen. If something is impossible, it is impossible - timescale becomes irrelevant.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

I think we're miscommunicating. I'm talking about the improbable events, not the impossible ones. If an event is impossible, it is impossible. If an event is just every highly unlikely, with infinite chances, the unlikely thing will occur.

Oh so you mean like flipping a coin and it landing heads up 18 billion trillion times in a row? Now that's improbable to an unimaginable degree, but is it impossible? Probably not, given enough time. No matter how long the odds, forever is longer! Mind you I'm not sure if you could say that is is certain that you could flip 18 billion trillion heads in a row if you had unlimited time?

I'm not considering human limitations, since humans don't have infinite life, but that's exactly what I mean.

It's hard to imagine being dead for infinity - both before your life and after. It's hard to imagine going to heaven for infinity, that's actually scary - dunno where xtians find the attraction. Being dead for eternity is surely the better option as you won't be aware of the infinite time elapsing. Whoops went off on a tangent there, but the concept of infinity boggles my mind every time.
