Driving in the left lane

I also hate with a passion people giving way when they shouldn't.

Ah, so you are the grumpus behind me, scowling when I let merging traffic in. The guy who often zips into the left lane and offers me the finger as he passes, because I dare to let someone get in front of me (especially big rigs... I don't play around those beasts). My mortal foe... We meet again. I'm fairly certain my politeness on the road is where my parking karma comes from.
Seriously, I have a GPS system. It tells me when I need to turn, but it also has a nifty feature of giving me my estimated arrival time. Trust me, those extra 5 miles an hour will not get you to your destination any faster than the speed you are currently traveling, unless you are going a fairly significant distance.
The only merging traffic I fight is the idiot who obviously sees the "lane closed ahead" signs for a mile before the lane closure. Yet insists to ride in the lane that is soon to be closed up to the barrels/cones. I don't let those bastards in... Ever.

No you misunderstand. I hate it when people give way to traffic that is flowing and they have right of way, like turning left onto a new road and giving way to people driving in the right-hand lane. Not only does it not help anyone, they hold up traffic.
