Need a Vacation?
I really loved Berlin, too. My advice for anyone having the opportunity, is go!

I'm going to Puerto Vallarta January 18-29. It's almost like a second home to me.

The Grand Canyon is only 4 hours away - but I'm retired so vacations are not so vital any longer.

I've been there too. Gorgeous place.

I've been to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo, and Ixtapa.
(Ixtapa was a lot of fun but my only complaint was that the beaches are not near as beautiful as those other three.)

Seen it twice. Nothing like it anywhere in the world. It took my breath away both times.

It's so beautiful, but I'm terrified of heights Undecided I don't think I could ever visit. I do like the pictures though.

Yeah, the beaches of Ixtapa aren't as good. I preferred Ixtapa's next door neighbor Zihuatenajo, which is a lot more laid back and felt far more authentic than Ixtapa.

Also been to Barra de Navidad / Melaque and Manzanillo, but I've spent far more time in PV. I've been going there for over 15 years, as often as I can.

I want so very much to honeymoon in Armenia. Hopefully in a resort by the lake.

Going on holidays cost money, so I don't go anywhere.

Save up a little every month brother for as long as it takes. There's nothing quite like getting away to an exotic destination. It dramatically opens the eyes and often renews one's outlook when they return home.

Gotta do it brother. Someday.

Well, the benefit, Germans of living in the internet age, is that I have an "in" to Paris. I have a couple "ins" to Germany as well. And England. And one to Italy. It's coming up with the cost of the ticket that's the problem.
