A re-direct Tiberius?? Thinking Interesting.

I have had these notifications before and so has Zen but we seldom frequent some threads and so are unable to follow-up.

No, not a redirect. The image was included in the page; it's just that the site it was hosted on (freeimagehosting.net) looks dodgy and was reported as Malware by Chrome/Firefox.

FF is optimized for Linux. Safari is optimized for Apple. Both IE9 and Opera and (of course) Maxthon are optimized for Windows. IMHO the only correct system to operate FF on is Linux. Chrome, I believe, is also optimized for Linux. In any case, Opera is 99x better than FF in every way.

RE: Malware and Threads
I recently fixed a computer with win7 for someone that was using IE. Its problem was that when trying to read a mail at gmail, it went BSOD. Sollution? Downloaded Chrome, set it up as the default browser. Problem solved.

IE is a cancer.

Also, I have no idea where people get the idea that Firefox is optimized for Linux from. Firefox is developed for Windows, OS X, and Linux. The vast majority of Firefox users are on the Windows OS. It makes no sense for them to focus on Linux alone. Likewise with Chrome; it is optimized for all three operating systems.

I'd never heard of Maxthon before today, but it appears to be a cloud based browser which essentially stores everything you do in the cloud (sounds secure...not), and is developed by the Chinese (sounds secure...not). I'd highly recommend against using it for both those reasons.

Ahh

that makes sense..so our "malware" screening would pick it up.

will still give you any screen grabs etc for your files. Big Grin

RE: Malware and Threads
I've made a few websites that I tried my best for them to look equal for all plattforms. FF & chrome is all cool and dandy, but the amount of extra markup (and script) you have to do so that it looks equal in IE is just painfull.
