Apologies I didn't reply a lot earlier, I kept getting error messages so couldn't.

Opinions are like tools that can be used for good or bad and they may be supported by evidence to get closer and closer to "fact" (not necessarily absolute fact...) but they are often known to be completely apart from fact. Opinions can also be like toys, they can be a lot of fun and they can help you express yourself. And it's uncomfortable if they get broken. It's also important to play nicely.

I like dogs, although I can at times be a bit fearful. I've never had a dog or had a friend or family member with one. So, i'm not that used to them. When I was a kid I was kind of phobic though, I'm not any more. I like the presence of most dogs now, generally speaking. And I find them to be interesting animals.

[quote=Rayaan] It's because I agree with it. I assume that you mean that the concept of "gods" (plural, lower case g) does not equate to the concept of "God" (capital G) right?

I have absolutely no idea. Not much at all considering that it is software? (I could be so wrong here, I'm ignorant of stuff like this (and other stuff yes!)).

Indifferent, because I don't know what you're referring to. Although, I wish I knew. Please tell me more. I have curiosity galore.

Well, they may be "taking the piss" but when it comes to seemingly apathetic nonseriousness, I think I get the gist.

Would I like to smack them? I'd rather they smacked me . . . but only if they don't want to. If they want to smack me then I'd rather avoid them and disappoint them. I'm weird like that.

No seriously, why the fuck haven't you give me a god damn rep point...

I wish I knew. Maybe I'm a bigger forum cunt than you. I'll give you a rep point since you deserve it at least more than me.

(No seriously I didn't realize I hadn't already given you one).

I seem to be feeling happy or maybe frustrated.

Am I happy with life? I seem to be doing pretty well overall, or perhaps I'm slowly getting tired of everything or maybe, rather, I'm getting tired of all my fucking emotions - although maybe I'm enjoying myself along the way Big Grin

(December 18, 2012 at 7:17 pm)Gilgamesh Wrote: What's your opinion on you even lifting?

Lifting what? Weight lifting? Lifting the weight of what? Well, let's put it this way: I have trouble lifting the weight of myself out of bed in the morning. Although that's for mental (and more specificically, emotional (and more specifically than that, mood-related (and more specifically related than that, "affective"mood-related))) rather than physical reasons.

Well I doubt that Sam Harris is doing it for the same reason, but that's why I'm actually (currently) doing it. To make people's lip twitch. I'm playing devil's advocate if it were.

Replace "religious" with "sentimental" if it really pisses you off that much. Although you may not like that either Devil

Well I'm tempted to just shout, something like (perhaps): "CUNTS!!!". But then I correct myself because computers are of course nothing like a bunch of vaginas, and if I think that they are then I'm an idiot or maybe I have serious sexual issues.

Sounds great for me. Notice I said "for" and not "to".

Why didn't I respond after 2 pages? This computer was fucked up and I was getting error messages.

Do I even have a life? Well, I understand the definiton of "life" but define "having a life"...

I suspect that you mean: "Are you a saddo?" and my answer is: I may or may not be a saddo, but I'm at least not currently sad, so I don't (currently at least) give a (currect) fucking fuck.

My opinion is that I'd have to google it and since I'd have to do that to even know what it, he, she or they are then I doubt that my opinion would be sufficent after a mere google search.

My opinion is that if or when he is a 'cunt' (not in the vaginal sense, I mean rather in the sense of being a "complete bastard") at least he has donated a humungous amount of money to charity.

Something to do with American or Canadian football? Well, I've never played the game and I'm clueless on the matter... I guess I'd just say (if I have to say something) that It's probably best to trust the mathematicans on the matter but to still, naturally, use your common sense and divert from that in order to master the game by psychological reasons as well as logical. (I googled it and found that apparently there is a mathematical analysis).

(I may, being a philosophizer, engage in mental masturbation... but I don't want to make my mind jealous of my body, you see.).

(December 30, 2012 at 5:33 pm)Brian37 Wrote: Who do you think will win tonight's game between the Cowboys at the Redskins?

My opinion is that, unfortunately, I can't even estimate the probability on that because I have no information to go by unless I do a quick google search and I'd still in no way consider that sufficent evidence for properly making even an estimate of the probability.

I've never even heard of the Cowboys or the Redskins.

Hi,

I would like to know what you think of Christians who say they experience the miraculous from time to time. I am one such person. As an example God showed me a person I could marry, it worked out great, we got married and have a happy life together. He has also done other things like healing a woman with a bad back instantly, and revealed future events and the like. Read my website for many of the things he has done http://www.futureandahope.net do you have an open mind as an athiest, or are you convinced of your views.
Hey I love God he is awsome.

RE: Ask me my opinion on anything.
I am quite convinced that gods don't exist but I still believe that any logically possible god might exist.

As for miracles, I wonder how someone can know what is miraculous, what is paradoxical, and what is "merely" extraordinary. How can someone know that what they have experienced doesn't have a "godless" explanation however miracious what they experienced may seem to be to them.

Hi,

for me every miracle that I have experienced has been logical. Either it was a direct answer to prayer, i.e. an instant healing of a sick woman, with the result I asked for. Or it was a miraculous event that made perfect sense, i.e. being told "How would I like to be stabbed", then on the same day meeting a man who had been stabbed, which ended in him becoming a Christian. Nothing has been random, everything has had a purpose. Nothing was just an odd coincidence, everything had a reason for occurring.

Nothing that you currently believe can disprove God, even evolution could have happened to God, and we are his creation. Can you really be certain that what you believe is true.
Hey I love God he is awsome.
