Tell me about your drinking habits!

I was at first confused because I thought Hornitos and Don Julio where some special for of alcohol and not just a brand.

When i comes to Tequila we only have cheap shit exports here. No really good stuff, and if then one probably has to import it.

Small breweries are everywhere here, it`s practicaly part of our culture.

They're good Tequilas, hopefully you can try them sometime. We've got plenty of tequila choices here. That's one thing our State Liquor Stores have done well.
We've got several choices for microbreweries, nothing like Milwaukee or Denver, but we're growing up a bit.
I'd love to experience some of your breweries man. Sounds amazing.

I have an occasional glass of wine with dinner or maybe a couple of beers while cooking out. Right now there are 4 bottles left in the 6 pack of Dos Equis that's been in the fridge for at least 2 weeks. Once or twice a year I'll drink a 6 pack and a couple or 3 shots of Patron or maybe some chilled Goose. Once upon a time a case of Buds and bottle of Jack over the weekend wasn't unusual but those days are long gone.

I live smack dab in the middle of the micro-brewing capitol of the country.

It's absolutely fantastic. The beer around here is unlike anywhere else I've ever been ..... and I've been everywhere.

I drink gallons of Budweiser every week. If I'm eating out, I prefer Guinness. When I must, I'll drink a Canadian Rye on ice as a cocktail.

As far as wine, one can never go wrong with a good Chianti.

My all time favorite drink, which I haven't had permission to drink in over a decade, is an Oil Slick. An Oil Slick is a shot of Jagermeister layered on top of a shot of Rumple Minze.

Coffee in the morning - preferably espresso based drinks unless it's the weekend and I can do French Press or pour-over coffee. Tea in the afternoon. I like teas that have a mix of sweet and tart in them rather than being overly herbal. I think it's Tazo that has a tea called "Passion" with rose hips and lemongrass in it. Yum.

Most places around here that aren't connected to microbreweries at least serve Guinness along with their shitty Budweiser and stuff, so I drink that mostly. If they are wise and serve local brewery stuff, I drink that instead - and NC is big on beer so this isn't a problem to find. In which case, I prefer porters and stouts.

Wine is more of a dessert thing for me unless I'm eating Italian.

At home, I drink Johnnie Walker Black or vodka martinis with potato vodka. Sorry, fuck you, gin is disgusting. I don't care if vodka doesn't make a "real" martini.

I'm ordering a couple scotch/whisky glasses and other barware for our new condo, and David and I plan to expand our palettes as far as that goes.

I don't drink mixed drinks or cocktails very often, if at all, because for some reason the sugar content in most of them fucks me up. If I do, it's vodka and cranberry.

I drink a lot. I also travel a lot so it depends on the country. When I'm in the US, I mostly drink beer. More or less every day, either PBR if I'm broke, or Sierra Nevada IPA if I have money. I normally spend a quarter or so of my year in Mexico, and there I drink Mescal, which is an even cheaper version of tequila. In Peru there is a grape Liquor called Pisco that is very cheap and quite good. I've never actually seen it in the US. In Chile or Argentina decent wine about 1/5th the cost that it is in the US. If I'm in Canada, which I am every summer, everything is so fucking expensive I just smoke pot.

When it comes to non alcohol, I have quite the habit of drinking coke. I dont like coffee and seem to be one of the view persons who hasn`t got a coffee habit. I usualy only drink it if I have to stay up late for some special reason. In the morning I usualy drink tea or a hot chocolate with chili powder. I drink alot of water and cant stand soda.

And I grow my own tea, which I am very proud of.
