But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Remember that the people who persecuted the christians were true believers of other gods.
So it is best to view it as religious in fighting.
Us atheists had nothing to do with it.
You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

You don't expect a jesus freak site to tell you the truth, do you? Trust me on this, asshole. You are never going to get any information detrimental to your stupid fairy tales at Isuckedjesus'cock.com. They have a vested interest in keeping idiots like you in the dark.
Sorry, but you are going to have to read things that aren't written by other jesus freak assholes if you want to learn anything.
But you don't, so you won't. You are happy in your ignorance.
The rest of us however have moved on.

Are you going to act like a complete wuss every-time I question your lack of academic credibility?
Sorry, but Eric Cline is who I actually paid attention to, not people who half-ass their research.

Christians believe they are persecuted as a matter of doctrine. I've just come to believe that they have a different definition of persecution than the rest of us. I mean Christians today will talk about being persecuted in the United States, even though from the best of what I can tell it just means they aren't allowed to forcibly shove their bullshit in everybody's faces 24 hours a day. Get over the persecution complex. Christians have persecuted many hundreds of thousands of times the people as they have been persecuted.
As for Christianity in the Arab peninsula, I'm sure there was some. Ethiopia and Egypt were both Christian states prior to Islam, but I don't see the link as credible evidence for a whole Christian state. The things that are discovered seem to mean that there was a Christian community of some kind. But that's not surprising as the Arab peninsula was fairly religiously tolerant before Islam.

Ask Eric what his evidence for fucking jesus is. It won't be any different than Ehrman's. There is no contemporary evidence for any crucified jew coming back from the dead.

Sorry. Eric does not make up evidence to prove a point. When he believes in a theory of say Israelite origin where there is little to no evidence, he points that out.

As opposed to 200 years of excavation in Egypt and Israel which shows that the OT is horseshit. There is no evidence for its fables.
Cline is not the problem here. I saw him in a special where he called the Exodus story a load of shit. The problem is YOU and your desperate need to think fiction is real.
