What's your opinion on a woman asking a man to marry her instead of the more traditional man on one knee "popping the question"?

I know lots of guys who love when women take the pressure off them to ask them out or ask them for marriage.

Well the future she will have to ask me, since I`m a bum who cant be bothered to do anything else but getting up in the afternoon on some days.

I think that's cool, why not? I've told my girlfriend if we got married, I'd take her last name based on the fact that she has the cooler last name.

A man being the one to ask just seems to be one of these tradition for the sake of tradition things. Not a good reason to keep doing something.

I wouldn't mind taking on someone else's name aswell. If they have a better name, then the choice is obvious.

Well she has the same last name as a famous pirate. Badass. My last name is boring and ordinary.

Hovik and I wanted to get married as a mutual thing. We didn't have a huge proposal or anything. It's funny, though, the first time he actually asked me and the time he presented me the ring he got from his mom, I was naked.

I don't see anything wrong with people asking what's in their hearts.
