Seriously. 3% of Americans own half the guns. That's 126,000,000 guns in the hands of less than one million people. Now I broke my math bone in the 5th grade and it never healed properly, but that's still scary shit.
What's so scary about that? I have three full gun safes so I'd probably fall into that 3%. The only one not locked up is a 10mm Glock sitting on my desk at work right in front of me. That 3% likely holds the most responsible, well trained, and safest gun owners in the country. And if shit got really stupid and backwards, you would probably get 99% of your support by that 3%.

I'd be more afraid of my own government than a bunch of guys that are likely predominantly in the middle level income bracket that have the most to lose by flying off the handle.

In REALITY of course I am glad that the Nazis were defeated. But the story line of the movie makes no sense to me now looking back at it. The target, in the movie was a castle where there was a huge party with civilians in the castle. I can understand the ambush on our part. But what makes no sense now watching the movie is AFTER they get the drop on the bad guys, they still pour gas on them, and drop hand grenades into the vents to the basement to kill them.
If anyone has seen this movie, am I the only one?
I hate Nazis, but I also hate harming someone after you have the drop on them no matter what.

Fire arms per capita as a predictor of gun deaths? Those studies include people shooting someone that breaks in, cops shooting criminals, and depressed people putting a gun to their head. None of which are such a negative in the grand scheme of things.
