Police believe a man outside a bar in Georgia accidentally shot himself in the hand, and the same bullet killed a woman across the street.

Police on Saturday responded to a call of shots fired outside the Old Heidelberg restaurant and bar, and found 53-year-old Glenn Patrick Lampien sitting on a bench, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Lampien was bleeding from a gunshot wound to his hand.

Officers soon learned that a Texas woman across the street had been shot by the same bullet that traveled through Lampien’s hand. Attempts to save the woman at the scene were not successful, and she was pronounced dead.

Guns everywhere...and bodies everywhere.

And this guy had all the makings of a fine cop....

Kansas man shot in buttocks by stray bullet fired by target shooter half mile away

Police said five men ages 18-20 had been target shooting at a dead stump with no backstop on a nearby farm.

“When you’re shooting rifles that are made for long distance shooting you definitely need to know what’s behind your target when you shoot,” said Sgt. Kevin Berry, of the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.

A 7-year-old was in critical condition Tuesday after his grandmother accidentally shot him when she mistakenly thought he was an intruder breaking into her bedroom.

Police arrested a man who approached a group of children with a gun, and then fired the gun into the air. According to WITN, Greenville, North Carolina’s NBC affiliate, police report that there was a dispute between some people, and, as a result of the dispute, Marlo Bailey fired his shotgun into the air.

I'm sure they all consider themselves "responsible" gun owners.

STRUTHERS, OH, 7/24/14: A man who opened fire on his cat shot through the walls of his house and hit a neighboring home. Mark Cook, 57, of Struthers, was arraigned Friday in Struthers Municipal Court on a charge of improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation. According to a police report, officers were called about 3:15 PM. Thursday to a home on Park Avenue after the residents said their house had been shot at several times. Investigators were led to the house next door, where they questioned Cook about the incident. At first, Cook said that he fell and the 9-millimeter gun he was carrying accidentally discharged. Later, he admitted to shooting at a cat that was lying on a bed in a downstairs bedroom, the report states. Cook told officers he was angry at the cat because it was clawing at several items on the bed. The bullets went through Cook’s home and into the neighboring house. A search of Cook’s house, which he shares with his mother, uncovered 31 guns and an “enormous” amount of ammunition, according to the police report.

Driver Accidentally Second Amendments Himself in Head During Road Rage Confrontation

A wonderful example of ammosexual road rage was on full display last night in San Antonio, Texas.

A man reportedly had been “run off the highway” and chased down the alleged culprit in his vehicle. The chase resulted in a verbal altercation in which the victim pulled out a handgun.

He is believed to have been using the gun to intimidate the other driver when somehow the gun accidentally went off, shooting himself in the head.

Not thrilled with it. The thing is, knives rarely go off by accident and seldom hit people 2-3 blocks away.

Of course, if a cop sees a black person with one they are deadly...to the person holding it.

I understand the utility of a pocket knife or bladed multi-tool like a Leatherman, but I don't understand walking around town with a kukri.
