1:34- look at his smirk & not directly answering the question. These people should know, that not one man can use the power of God. Science comes before faith, especially with medical conditions that he lies about healing- ugh..

What are your thoughts on Faith healers like this guy?

They are on par with frauds who would "minister" to you in the name of "Jesus". Such as these ones, for instance:

Since your first post you have been late to the party and way behind.

What do we think? I think you know.

This is a amateur attempt to say "Isn't this silly"

Well yea, no duh.

But to the atheist when a believer points at another superstition and says "Isn't that silly" to us that is like two si fi fans arguing over the merits of Star Trek vs Star Wars.

Think about why you posted this thread knowing you object to the claims of others and apply that same logic to your own claims.

I do wish this bloke had a different name. Every time I see it mentioned anywhere, my brain autocorrects it to Benny Hill. To the best of my knowledge, the closest he ever got to faith healing was slapping old Jackie Wright's bald head.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

What do I think of faith healers? Were the Bible legit, they would work. There are still snake handling Christian churches out there who sincerely believe when the Bible says god will protect them and then the pastors die from a poisonous snake bite during the service.

Hell, this preacher looks more credible than faith healers (more fun, too):

Damned right. Benny Hill's family should sue. Benny Hill probably saved the lives of horny guys by providing them with prostate exercise material. That reminds me I still would love an autograph of Louise English, one of his "Hill's Angels". She was one of my first crushes.

I know exactly what you mean. The seventies was a great place to be growing up as a young lad; Jimmy Savile notwithstanding.

Re: the thread topic - Not sure where I got this from, I can't claim it as mine in case someone digs up the source, but it's the best advice I ever found for handling faith healers. Basically, go up on stage with some minor ailment, then when he touches you, immediately clap your hands over your face and scream that you've gone blind. If he touches you again, drop to your knees and scream that you can't feel your legs. There probably won't be a third attempt.
