A thank you...
RE: A thank you...
Think of it as an extension, then, a second course to the food for thought. Let's not split hairs, ok?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Incorrect. Christians in general believe that god lets people sin in this life and judges them at the end. It's completely different.
Quote:As such, they fear it just as much as the characters in the episode fear Bad Kirk's button.
They do, or at least should, fear it in the beginning, but fear becomes love. Admonishment to a believer is meant for correction and improvement rather than punishment.

He'd probably say the same as me - you don't know what you're talking about. Sorry to be so blunt, but...

Fair enough. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. I'm always open to learn, but your attitude to teaching leaves much to be desired. Is condescension part of the lesson? Because I learn fast.

I don't think you do Stimbo (learn fast)...
Think of how most atheists here treat theists, and especially new theists. I learned my condecention from the assholes here.. They taught me well, wouldn't you think???

I wouldn't dream of disabusing you of your opinion. Trust me, though, you'll know beyond all doubt when I'm being condescending.

I wasn't trying to teach. I seriously doubt that you're open to learn on the subject. If you were, you would have been asking questions rather than making assertions.

Ok, I'm an arsehole. You got me. Well done. This is all way off the original point anyway.

Maybe that was your point; it certainly wasn't mine. I was making an observation about the probability of either a theist or an atheist posing as an example of the opposing side successfully enough to be accepted as such.
