If you've ever had your ass handed to you in Socom 2 by "catfish" (or Justin_D_Nile), that was also me... Mr Fish might smell bullshit but I completely agree with you. In fact I'll go a step further and say that apart from the occasional trolling out of boredom or mischievous feelings, I would much rather be my genuine unvarnished self and thus hope to earn the respect and friendship of people I admire, than act like some cocky friendless git who seems to enjoy making a pariah of himself.

No, I agree with her sentiments about the purposelessness of pointless trolling. That you characterise her comment expressing those views - in direct answer to your question, remember - as "trolling you" says more about your stance in regard to discussion and the freedom to state one's opinions than I suspect you really intended.

You claim to know what I was responding to? Really? The fact of the matter is, I was directly responding to the "sockpuppet" picture but you'll believe what you want to believe. If she felt it was "purpouseless", then why did she post it? If she doesn't have proof, then I consider it trolling (your interpretation may vary).
You're a mod, I'm sure you can see who the sockpuppets are, right? Are you not breaking the rules by protecting the offenders? (read my sig)

You're absolutely right. With my Mod Superpower I can indeed expose sockpuppets for what they are. To echo what already been said on that point, I have already checked out the IP addresses of everyone you accuse of being socks, including yourself. There is no evidence to support the allegations, so no I am not breaking the rules as you allude as there are no offenders to protect. You are making some very serious allegations here, which I for one am getting tired of hearing. If you can substantiate these charges, do so in your very next post.

I have only stated my suspicion of one account here that I believe to be a sockpuppet. I admit I'm not 100% certain and as such did not accuse outright. Funny how he used not being banned as "proof" that he wasn't sockpuppet though. I have been accused of it numerous times in this thread and you don't think that is trolling?
The only sock I was 100% sure about has already been reported to a mod, which of course is the perpertrator of the said infraction. And I only reported him to himself to abide by the rules. Had you not had me on ignore, you would have gotten the report too...
As I said before, deceitful, lying hypocrites are just that, deceitful, lying hypocrites...

Clearly you have no idea how the report system works, but that's ok because before my promotion I didn't either. All staff are alerted to reports the moment they are submitted. Having someone on ignore makes no difference to that. After the submission, all staff are allowed, indeed encouraged, to express their opinions with regard to the severity of the reported offense and appropriate action, if any. As I said elsewhere, my Mod status does not disbar me from having anyone I choose on my ignore list. I paid you the courtesy of taking you off mine for reasons I stated at the time.
If you did indeed report your suspect to himself as you say, and I have no reason to doubt you, then that is not an official report and you did not abide by the rules on that point. If the matter was resolved to your satisfaction then that is no business of staff.
I will now ask you to withdraw your words about my using my Mod status to protect rulebreakers.
