WHY?!??!?!?!?!? (sorry for the caps)
The idea was that they'd be reintroduced, so we know which subscribed forums have new posts. Now, it's equally useless. Sad

Everything else is just great! Smile

Hmm. I thought the background changed when there were new posts. Nevermind then. I'll have to get some icons.

Use the same triangles you use for threads with new posts. Those are unobtrusive enough, while tapable... after zooming in a bit.

Those just take you to the newest post. They don't change based on whether you've read the post or not. We need two icons.

Well, they "change"... if there are no new posts, they're absent:

And that bolding of the font is also a good idea, for slow connections. Wink

Ok. I'll see about implementing them.

On the issue of typing, I only have problems in Android. It tries to predict what I'm typing, invariably gets it wrong, and then decides to move the cursor somewhere random. I've experienced it on other sites...the Android renderer is crap.

hehe... use a different keyboard!
If you like swiping, there's the obvious swype, or Swiftkey flow which is in beta, so it's "free":

The new mobile site is great. It needs the shoutbox though. If that were provided I'd never have to switch to the desktop version on my iPod again.
