Don't be a prick - I'm a hort student, so of course I get off on plants and of course there are other options to see that would balance things out. Humans helping each other. Humans creating. Chocolate. Music, for fucks sake, in your case.

I do not if that's a way of saying, but anyway i planted a rhodondendron just yesterday. It will take twenty-years to grow, but it makes me very happy!!

I'm not suggesting that people DON'T ignore reality in favor of something that makes them happy. I'm just saying it's possible to be an atheist and not be depressed - and NOT because you're ignoring things. You don't have to patch up unhappiness with god or any other woo.
