If he had it, he would already have given it. But he doesn't have it, therefore he cannot give it, and would rather waste our time making us wait for it so that he play "Dodge the bullet" with us.
Isn't that right, Fr0do?

If the reasoning is valid, if it gives credence to the belief, it's evidence by definition! So it's better to just say: evidence! It's one word and it's technically correct!
[sorry we're way off topic here]
Reasoned faith is validated by other believers. So does that give it credence and make it evidence?

Well if the 'reasoned faith' by these believers, truly validates their belief as being correct, then it gives credence to it, it's evidence, and therefore they by definition don't actually have faith because they have evidence.

Lmfao,
Now to make my post worthile rather than just an "lmfao"
Saerules, could you please try and not quote amounts that are relatively quite large compared to your response? It's actually from the general forum rules and guidelines:
Quote:Quoting large posts. Creating long posts is absolutely fine (as long as they are your own work of course) but when you are replying to one try to avoid the temptation to quote the whole thing. Instead simply quote a small section as otherwise it tends to make the thread quite difficult to read. An alternative might be to wrap up large sections using the hide tag, such as:
Code:
Thanks!

Oh and P.S: ...I don't know how you'd judge my intelligence, I wouldn't claim to be more intelligent...sometimes I think I'm quite smart, but other times I think I'm a complete idiot. That's perhaps quite normal I guess though lol.
I may have some eloquence perhaps, but totally lack conciseness lol.
I respect your eloquence and inqusitiveness yourself. So thanks anyway

AHA!!! (dressed like Zorro) Struts into the room with an air of triumph....
So you admit that evidence is irrational then?

LOL, yeah because that's exactly what I said and I definitely didn't imply the exact opposite did I(?!)
I'm saying that if their reasoned faith is at all valid, then it can't be faith, it's reasoned evidence. Due to the logic I presented in the post you just quoted. It's true by definition right? Evidence is that what gives credence to a belief, so without evidence they have no credence for their belief....so since their reasoned faith has no evidence (by definition, cos it's 'faith'), then the reasoning doesn't give credence to their belief, so their belief is deluded (a false belief). If their reasoned faith gives credence to their belief on the other hand, then it can't be faith because if it gives credence to the belief then it's evidence!

(You didn't have to do that little circle dance at the end BTW, though I know how you love to fuk with my mind you lil tease )
Well lets go into the danger zone again...
Christians do validate the beliefs of fellow Christians as much as is possible... and necessarily; this evidence of faith is ...wait for it... non transferable to any old wingnut outside of understanding in any definite form. So God cannot be proved, but faith in God is internally verifiable to the community.
Evidence then so get believing son.

If it's valid it's evidence. Ok...so where is it?
