Vivid Dreams
March 9, 2013 at 11:42 pm
Does anyone else here have vivid dreams where you know you are dreaming and continue dreaming? I just had a conversation with my wife where she said she never had any such experience and thought I was eccentric for having had them.

I've had some. Most of my dreams aren't lucid, but a few have been.

I am and was plaguaed by nightmare due to traumatic events in my childhood.
I tried to learn as much as possible about dreams and especialy I tried to learn how to lucid dream, but everytime I gain awareness of the fact that I am dreaming I wake up.
Sometimes my awareness stays but I dont change anything, which happens fairly seldom.
Luckily my nightmares have become more seldom.
The dreams I enjoy most (for the value of humor) are those in which you wake up, but still think you are in your dream and act acording to the dreams plot.

It happens to me frequently. I have been able to induce them once or twice, but that is extremely hard. They are more common for me if I am on a stimulating medication.

I have lucid dreamed a few times. Usually once I realized I'm dreaming I soon wake up no matter how hard I try not to.
I managed to have sex in one lucid dream so I guess in my fantasy reality I'm not a virgin.

dream sex is far from reality and oftern shows things absolutly how they are not.
mainly because dream sex is how one wants sex to be

I remember now. As soon as I realized I was dreaming I was like "sudo brain make a woman".

Anyone had sleep paralysis? Bloody scary shit.
Awake, can't move, but still sorta dreaming, and you see/hear evil shit.
I've had a ghostly old hag standing over me as well as hellish music accompanied by a demonic child's laughter.
I've had some lucid dreams, but I found that you can't change the dream too much else you kill it. Mostly it's just, "oh hey I'm dreaming, no wonder I'm able to fly..., ok, I can either wake up or I can let this totally awesome and free 3d/interactive movie continue."
Nemo me impune lacessit.
