I love the humility of Christians.
Btw, welcome back, GC. I hope you are doing well.
Thanks apophenia, I'm doing well.
As far as humility goes I can not see it having anything to do with what I said. According to scripture I'm already a part of the kingdom of heaven, was not bragging, just stating what scripture provides.

Humility is apprehending the nature of God and living out of harmony with the created order. Humility is not claiming to be the smallest.
Humility happens when your pride becomes the glory of God. When your sense of self respect is completely rooted in agreement with the created order, that is when you are humble, when you decrease.
The popular idea of humility despiritualizes it and is a caricature of an incredibly deep concept. True humility is not numerical, it is qualitative, it is not saying I am nothing but it is having your sense of pride becoming so inextricably tied to the glory of God that you see your own existence as being a part of God's.
I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me, the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God
Gal 2:20
Humility is not about self-deprecation, that is just another way of being self centered.
You can't go down if you have nowhere to go up!

The only ones going to heaven are those who believe in Christ as their savior and in heaven there will be no class of people, not as we understand it. For those in heaven to think of others as lower than themselves would be to judge, this would be sinful and sin will not be in heaven. God is the only judge, when the finial judgement is over there will be no need for further judgement, judgement comes because of sin and like I said above there will be no more sin. Saying all this I still have not answered your question about the kingdom of heaven, I gave this to show that Matt. 5:19 was not about the finial destination of the saved. I as one of the saved am already in the kingdom of heaven and have been a teacher of God's word, this is what Matt. 5:19 is about, the here and now.
Here's the problem with 2000 year old institutions...they're fucking boring! To prove my point, allow me to put an old joke in first person....
So there I was in a Catholic pew, one week from confirmation. My torment was a fine woman, my mother's age, seated directly in front of me. Today, one might affectionately refer to her as a MILF or cougar. Keep in mind that Mass is an octogenarian aerobic workout...sit, kneel, bend, stand.
She stood up and had much of her dress in the crack of her fine ass. I took it upon myself to pull it out. I was slapped for my chivalry. Having learned my lesson, I tucked it back in the next time she kneeled.
I would agree, the Catholic services I've been to are boring, I do understand that many Catholic services are not that way now. By the way you would have been slapped in a Baptist church too. The services in many of today's churches are not boring, in a church that teaches scriptures I never find it boring. Christianity is like many other things, it is for you what you make it.

I can promise you that, if you study theology under the anointing of the Holy Spirit and you are receiving revelations, you start to see the pieces of the universe come to together and have insight. It is not boring at all.
What is and what isn't boring is subjective. You can't just say he is wrong, because he finds something boring that you do not. Jelly Jiggler judges you.

No, it isn't subjective. When you correctly understand theology, you feel like you understand life. You have this sort of wholesome pleasure inside you where you feel like you have tasted the spirit of the world around and not some sort of hedonistic perversion of it.
Christianity is like eating very very healthy food that tastes good, like a nectarine.

As has already been pointed out. That is a subjective opinion. Atheism is like eating very very healthy food that tastes good, like a nectarine could be stated and be just as true as your statement.

jstrodel - I totally relate with you. I use to have experiences with what appeared to me to be the God's glory and beauty as well vision of spirits both good and bad, human and jinn...but in my case, it definitely was schizophrenia, I know that for a variety reasons but the main one is that these experiences stop when I take medications. My obsession also is severely decreased from dogma when I do.
I felt like at points I was enlightened and felt bliss and tranquility, I know the feeling.
But the best way to live life is not on psychotic delusion but one based on truth and reality.
The only thing is that it's nearly impossible for anyone to have convinced me my experiences were false because they seemed real to me for a variety of reasons.
But when this dogmatic obsession stopped, I became healthier. More productive in my life. And I take pleasure in the small things in life as well.
I hope you find the peace you are looking for.

Thanks MysticKnight. I'm glad you are feeling better.
Mr Infidel - some pleasures are higher than other. Playing video games is not a high of a pleasure as understanding God. It isn't subjective. It is human nature.
