Church forbids sex for pleasure even with a spouse.

Protestant churches I have been in are not really concerned with contraception very much. The Catholics are more focused on that.
The issue is not really that simple. Either you accept pre-marital sex or you don't. That goes along with abortion and and the lust of modernity to use science to strip sexuality of its sacredness and turn it into an amusement park for adults. The Bible is not against women. It is against pre-marital sex because it is pro women. It understands that, contrary to some of the politically correct teachings you may have heard, only women are able to carry children. To restrict pre-marital sex is to show great love to women, who must deal with the pain and economic hardships surrounding unwanted pregnancies. The Christian church further elevates women by calling a women "a mother". Her children are not incidental appendages who have no value and can be killed at will but are a source of blessing and respect and honor to the women who bears them. It is the abortionists who are against women, and the pornographers. A true feminist would realize the beauty of the female form and not out of loathing for its difference with the male, desire to erase and kill the difference but accord them with dignity and respect. This is what the scriptures do, elevate the female and child and repudiate what repudiates the glorious respect accorded to the natural order. Throughout the old testament that is EXACTLY how your god and his primitive prophets view women: as property to be sold, traded, raped and beaten as their fathers and the conquering Israelite army sees fit. The Immoral Bible Wrote:Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT Strange how god seems to value women the exact same amount that the primitives of the time valued women. Apologetic gymnastics in ...3...2...1.... Well, if they didn't take the women during a time of war as their wives, they would have had to kill them. Then you would be complaining about that.
There is a 10 page debate about Deut 22. That is not about rape. RE: If God is all mighty, why doesn't he change bad people/seiners into good ones?

All you need to know about Christianity's attitude towards women is that the only alternative to rape this Christian can come up with is murder. How do you propose that ancient societies deal with conquered peoples in a time of war? It is not as if they can build a prison. What should they do with their captured people? They could enslave them, but you would complain about it. What do you suggest that they do? If you have 400 men, they can easily overthrow you.

There is far more than just Deuteronomy (my posts listed Judges and Numbers not to mention the plethora of other verses I didn't mention) and it is indeed about rape. Your god justifies it -you deny it and try to turn it into some bull shit argument about how enslaving and raping women is somehow better than killing them. So your filthy god justifies rape and slavery because they don't build prisons. Good one. Newsflash, the Romans didn't lock everyone in prison when they built the roman empire. Conquered peoples were allowed to live and often. Stop asking stupid obvious fucking questions as a way to side-step the fact that your god is the king of unethical immoral behavior.
