Seen all of those considerations before--American Tail was the bomb. Just bought the kids All dogs go to heaven, now I feel bad for it cuz lets face it: all dogs dont go to heaven.
I still sing the Anastasia song in the shower too. We watch Hocus Pocus all year long!
The amount of depth in An American Tail is staggering for an animated film, especially considering how easily approachable it is. But yeah: go get that first land before time film
It's probably very cheap, and it's a good family movie in general.
Which Anastasia song... 'in the dark of the night', or 'if I can learn to do it'?
(More likely that you sing 'once upon a december', but the other two have funnier connotations during showertime).
I'm totally okay with mysticism, religion, shizzle... when it fits. It fits All Dogs Go to Heaven

Good movie for kids too; redemption arc, there's a whole song about sharing, significantly deeper characters than in say... cinderella *quakes with silent laughter*
It fits A Christmas Carol.

It does not fit the great longneck migration 0.o And that's without ever questioning it on the basis of the series lore, in particular: HOW THE FUCK __________________________________? Too many lore-related blanks to list them all without this being a 100,000 character post.
Quote:Rescuers Down Under was good.. just got a copy of The Neverending Story for 5 dolla. Holla.
The kids just made me redownload Aladdin, so, that happened. That and little Mermaid. I get to revisit all the good ones every week
I'd say that The Rescuers (not it's sequel) is the better of the two.
Aladdin's alright, the little mermaid's alright, but I find that most of my attachment to them is the music and not the story. Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind... but why is damn near every disney male only after the girl for X attribute (looks, voice)?
... Actually, forget I asked that question.
Quote:If you think of any more good ones lemme know. I'm sorta out of ideas and if the kids had it their way we'd watch Coraline every night. Which gives me nightmares...
Mulan, The Emperor's New Groove, Lilo & Stitch, Meet the Robinsons, The Princess and The Frog, Tangled, and all the main Winnie the Pooh titles (Many adventures of, Pooh's grand adventure
(search for christopher robin), piglet's big movie, tigger movie).
Les Perusal.
I've seen almost every disney animated movie (main entries). Hesitated to include mulan, after all: you should have grown up with everything from snow white to tarzan and I didn't feel like listing every single pixar film (
