RE: Ladies, I get that you need them, but.
Hey Brian, you seem to like periods. I can tell you some awesome gross stuff about my own. Including the one that lasted 45 days and made me think I was going to die. PM me if you want to know more.

Please don't.

Disney.. Aghhhhhh.

Just a notice: The Land Before Time (film) is not a Disney production. The Land Before Time series has had multiple directors (2-4> Roy Allen Smith, 5-12> Charles Grosvenor, 13> Charles Grosvenor and Jamie Mitchell), none of which were ever affiliated with Disney. The Land Before Time series is a Universal Studios production. Glad that's out of the way Smile

I still enjoy playing with a large number of 'baby toys'... don't see anything wrong with it either, because baby toys are fucking awesome Tiny Tiger

I watched all the Land Before Time movies up to The Great Longneck Migration. Meaning... I only missed the last three. And that's not for not wanting to see them, quite the contrary... but the last few were a lot less memorable (to me) than the first 7. The Stone of Cold Fire introduced very adult subjects and indicated a major shift in the franchise, especially on the tail of The Secret of Saurus Rock... suddenly you get The Big Freeze, and the Fucking Journey To Big Water... and The Great Longneck Migration was drowned beneath so much mysticism that the the good bits might as well have been lost. I mean... the entire premise of that entry is religious 0.o Very out of place considering the first 9 titles.

I initially figured it for another Stone of Cold Fire (which is amazing)... what a longneck let-down Undecided

Might be interested in 12, since I would assume Pterano would be back (a changed, ma-... pterodactyl). But I'll have to endure what will probably be a horrible entry 11 (Invasion of the Tinysauruses? Really?!).

Really, they should just stick the whole damn thing on one disk so that I can buy it when I am someday not completely broke Smile

...

The first land before time is the most emotional creation featuring dinosaurs ever. I would recommend you re-watch it soon, since a five-year old would likely miss just about everything remarkable about the piece. Consider... An American Tail, The Secret of NIMH, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Anastasia.

I did not know thatSmile

Seen all of those considerations before--American Tail was the bomb. Just bought the kids All dogs go to heaven, now I feel bad for it cuz lets face it: all dogs dont go to heaven. Tongue
I still sing the Anastasia song in the shower too. We watch Hocus Pocus all year long!

Rescuers Down Under was good.. just got a copy of The Neverending Story for 5 dolla. Holla.
The kids just made me redownload Aladdin, so, that happened. That and little Mermaid. I get to revisit all the good ones every weekSmile

If you think of any more good ones lemme know. I'm sorta out of ideas and if the kids had it their way we'd watch Coraline every night. Which gives me nightmares...
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

The amount of depth in An American Tail is staggering for an animated film, especially considering how easily approachable it is. But yeah: go get that first land before time film Tongue It's probably very cheap, and it's a good family movie in general.

Which Anastasia song... 'in the dark of the night', or 'if I can learn to do it'? Tongue (More likely that you sing 'once upon a december', but the other two have funnier connotations during showertime).

I'm totally okay with mysticism, religion, shizzle... when it fits. It fits All Dogs Go to Heaven

Good movie for kids too; redemption arc, there's a whole song about sharing, significantly deeper characters than in say... cinderella *quakes with silent laughter*

It fits A Christmas Carol.

It does not fit the great longneck migration 0.o And that's without ever questioning it on the basis of the series lore, in particular: HOW THE FUCK __________________________________? Too many lore-related blanks to list them all without this being a 100,000 character post.

I'd say that The Rescuers (not it's sequel) is the better of the two.

Aladdin's alright, the little mermaid's alright, but I find that most of my attachment to them is the music and not the story. Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind... but why is damn near every disney male only after the girl for X attribute (looks, voice)?

... Actually, forget I asked that question. ROFLOL

Mulan, The Emperor's New Groove, Lilo & Stitch, Meet the Robinsons, The Princess and The Frog, Tangled, and all the main Winnie the Pooh titles (Many adventures of, Pooh's grand adventure (search for christopher robin), piglet's big movie, tigger movie).

Les Perusal.

I've seen almost every disney animated movie (main entries). Hesitated to include mulan, after all: you should have grown up with everything from snow white to tarzan and I didn't feel like listing every single pixar film ( Heart ) Tongue
