Doesnt mean that I somehow find this ok, but it has to be underlined that police violence is usualy never directed against conservative protesters - so I cant help but smile - especialy considering how conservatives often refer to demonstrators who get mauled by the police as "loons"
Anyway, there was a protest against the recent legalisation of gay marrige and the adoption of children by gay couples held in Paris.
And the Paris police (which by the way is already notorious for being really fucking brutal) cracked down extremly brutaly on these protesters:
