Did you use a clean utensil, or did you just scoop it out with your finger?

I used a butter knife. It's more effective. It doesn't matter, anyway, since I live alone in my apartment. The peanut butter is mine, all mine! Tongue

RE: Food
I bought a duck today and am thinking of how to prepare it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

Today I had calimari rings with fried potatoes, slightly rebaked bread, sliced raw bell pepper and some soda.

Now munching chocolate and thinking of making a simple bacon, cheese and salad sandwich

One of my favorite snacks.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Gonna have Iceland Macaroni Cheese for dinner. It's actually one of the best Macaroni Cheese Ready Meals I've ever had and it's only £1!
I'm totally planning to try Poundland's Ready Meals soon btw. Oh the joys of singledom!

RE: Food

I had Tyson ready-to-eat pork roast in gravy. It wasn't bad, but I think I will buy some fresh meat Monday. There's just no substitute flavor wise.

I've been drinking water like crazy lately. Probably a gallon today, in addition to 8 cups of coffee and two glasses of cola.

I've got a compact fridge coming by Fedex on Monday so I can keep more beverages cold. (I broke the veggie tray on my fridge a few days ago, loading it up with bottled water. Management is not going to be pleased with me.)

Leftover Pad Thai and sizzling beef and rice from the best little Thai restaurant down the street.

You're right, there is no substitute for fresh food for flavor, though some of the packaged stuff isn't half bad. Marie Callendar's makes a frozen roast chicken with mashed potatoes and corn that's actually pretty good, and they're usually under $2.

Considering that I think that most frozen food is barely fit for human consumption, that's a ringing endorsement. Big Grin

Blue cheese stuffed olives and jalapeno stuffed olives.

I checked the cupboard and I did have a jar of anchovy stuffed olives, but they're not chilled yet. I've never had them before, so if they suck, I'm blaming you, Kay.

RE: Food
a very basic lunch - gouda, ham and salad sandwich.

I cooked some peas for supper.

I gave the duck I bought to my neighbour in exchange for some lamb which I shall cook tomorrow.
I will make pictures of it.
