Perhaps we ought to continue this conversation in Area 69?
With pictures, of course.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
Some days ago, I made huge beef tenderloins - seared on a cast iron skillet - with horseradish-chive butter, garlic mashed potatoes, and a cucumber-pepper salad in a vinegar sauce.
Tonight, I'm recovering from a migraine and picking at some loose pastrami pieces and contemplating brewing some ginger pu-erh. ![]()
Did breakfast for dinner tonight. Wheaties in AlmondMilk, buttermilk toast with Brummel & Brown, and a Nature Valley Bar.
Tomorrow night I'll maybe polish off my crockpotted sausage, carrots, and potatoes in malbec.

Pot roast, m-ashed potatoes and gravy, and sauteed asparagus, all from scratch.
Just cleaned up the mess, and now I'm uncorking a 2002 Pinot Noir.
I'm sneakily eating a croissant a tiny bit at a time when I have no customers.
I was right. I did chicken, sausage, potatoes and carrots cooked in Malbec wine. Saltines crumbled on top. A couple of chocolate chip cookies afterward. I kind of overdid it. Actually, a really overdid it, and my body is (thankfully, in a sense) revolting.

On the heels of vegan arguments, I made this for our potluck yesterday:
http://veggieandthebeastfeast.com/2013/0...o-cookies/ They. Were. Awesome. Seriously. Oh, and over the weekend as I mentioned in another thread, we grilled French Onion burgers, with hot mixed veggies and fresh cut watermelon, and a foil wrapped grilled vidalia onion cooked until the petals melted apart. Tonight, I'm making burgers again so we can get rid of the rest of the buns before they go bad, but tomorrow I'm thinking of lemon-rosemary-garlic roasted chicken and rice. ![]()
Hey you can always slip in to Dunkin' Donuts for this little item.
http://apnews.excite.com/article/2013060...EI580.html Quote:The sandwich, which comes with fried eggs and bacon between a split glazed doughnut, will become a part of the permanent menu starting June 7, which the chain claims is "National Donut Day."
For the past weeks my main source of food has been a chinese takeaway.
Only breakfest I cook myself. |
