Is there any chance they'll be allowing the rest of us to vote NC out of the Union if this really were to pass? Wink

To hell with that, I aint givin up NC. Why not just usher them all onto a rez, let em write their own little laws and operate casinos or something?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I simply despise how conservatives support state's rights to such a degree.

Ugh... I was going to say I have no idea what you're talking about.
Took me a minute to figure out rez was short for reservation.

I saw rez and immediately went to resurrection. (Too much D&D and too many MMOs I guess Tongue )

But yes, in that case, that's a much better idea.

Yeah, will they ever learn to stop doing that? It never works out well for them.
It didn't work out with slavery, it didn't work with civil rights, it won't work here.

Umm, "We the People" has at least one North Carolina secession petition. And, seriously, the last time they tried it failed spectacularly.

I was looking at the North Carolina constitution and it says you are NOT eligible to office if you deny the being of almighty god. Link

How is that even allowed. No one has ever been able to provide any proof for the existence of god.
Quote:ARTICLE VI
SUFFRAGE AND ELIGIBILITY TO OFFICE
...
Sec. 8. Disqualifications for office.
The following persons shall be disqualified for office:
First, any person who shall deny the being of Almighty God.

Their heads are far too submerged into their rectums to properly interpret the US Constitution.
