Resurrecting this thread
I seriously need a new RP idea for Skyrim.
I've done all the main questlines with my main character. She's primarily a stealth character with maxed out 1 handed, light armour, stealth etc. She also dabbles in conjuration/destruction magic. Just getting to the point where I want something new to do, otherwise I fear I'm about done with skyrim. After 400 hours it's hard to find much else to do.
The only main thing I haven't done is the Dawnguard DLC siding with the actual dawnguard. I'd like a roleplay idea that would allow me to do that side of it, and roleplay a vampire hunter, but I just can't help think the gameplay would get boring (typical hack n slash and all that). I like the idea of playing an alchemist type character who uses poisons etc but that would also get boring quickly without any new quests to do. So I'm at a bit of a quandary. Also I want to make use of hearthfire, get married and all that jazz. But again, difficult to think of some interesting way of playing.
Any ideas?

Monk, Illusionist/magician, Salesman, Knight w/horse, one weapon-one handed user with nothing in off hand, pioneer/explorer just interested in mapping the whole of skyrim (and it's furthest depths and reaches), pilgrim, druggie, seriously nasty outlaw, etc.
After 400 hours... RP's about all you've got left of skyrim You should play a game that never runs out of replayability

I have attempted to download PC game torrents, but they never work for some reason.
Therefore, I stick with free MMO games.

Learn to pirate?
Play some LoL with me, when I get back to TX. You *can't* be worse than the other people I'd be obligated to play with. Hell, your signature looks like malzahar-nasus. Which would be weird, but awesome.

Seems like it would take too much of an effort.

I tried League of Legends, but it annoyed me from the beginning. Currently, I am downloading Forsaken World.

Easy as shit, actually. Just press a different button. 'They' often do the work for you, and tell you how to do it step-by-step usually. Not that you shouldn't support bethesda and buy their game, of course

Precisely what did you find annoying about it? Curious, and always looking for more scrubs to carry: that's Lilly.
Forsaken world isn't worth the code it's made of.

I am actually quite enjoying the game.

I enjoy broken messes of games too, usually because of a mechanic or a freedom here or there. Doesn't mean they're worth squat.

Scratch that. It's called KotOR. Yep. Screw Skyrim. Star Wars time.
Thanks for the ideas though Might have a go when the boredom of Skyrim has worn off.

Monk as a kajiit is totally viable without mods (just not on the hardest difficulties, and it has to be a heavy armor monk)... argonians can almost make a case for it, but the dropping of the unarmed tree in skyrim is really unfortunate :X
And yeah, they do exist. Personal examples... MOO, Diablo 2, LoL... basically: any game which features some element of randomness in initial setup but which is largely skill-based after that point.
But making your own fun? Hopefully no game can take that away from you.
You know... I've YET to complete the main storyline OR the Civil War OR the mages guild OR the companions OR the thieves guild. Sersiouly... I've done the Dark Brotherhood, but I just didn't feel any draw to the other three. And then while I'm walking around a different part of Riften than usual, I'm tipped off about some unfathomable deeps and off I go And I've put *at least* 400 hours into the game. Dunno how I still have fun in it... I guess I just REALLY love the universe of TES. Oblivion's still fun too, but the main quest in that game actually seems important. Morrowind? Incredible. I need to go get it again so I can open up chapters of dialogue with peeps and kill peeps who are important to the story if I want to.
I was introduced to Morrowind by a Brazilian, can you imagine? Good times.
