Sounds good to me. I'm not expecting anything else.

Hell is refered to as the Grave or the second death. What if the only way to spiritual death is through Hell? Would you still want to die?

LOL< really pumping that boogeyman this morning, huh.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

My question: Leave them be where? For there is no place in creation (including physical death) that 'they' do not have to condend with God.

IOW, you aren't content to let your god let someone be. You insist upon imprisonment. Unsurprising.

I just want to know what you think a viable alternitive to Hell is. Or even if any of you have given it any thought.

LOL, viable.....LOL

Hell is a non-event drich, viable doesn't apply to hell or any alternative. The only thing on the plate right now is what you really wish would happen to someones corpse or "soul". As usual.

Drich, assuming that heaven and hell are real places, I don't want to go to either of them.

When I die, I want that to be it - nothingness. I just don't exist anymore.
Given that we can only comprehend heaven with our own mind - and that is not an accurate view of heaven, I can say that I don't want to go to my version of heaven, because I don't want to live forever.
Also, if I can't comprehend it: I can't say whether or not I want to be there.

I think the punishment is only a matter of perspective. Which is why I asked if not Hell then what would you want for yourself?
After my death, I want to be dead, no more, finito, kaput, game over.
Like everyone else here, left alone... if there is such a thing as an immortal soul, I want mine to be obliterated into nothingness, no heaven, no hell, no purgatory, just nothing.... back to what it was before I was conceived.

I believe the 'service' we will be asked to do is care for and maintain the infinate universe... After all what else will keep an immortal busy for eternity?
Indeed, what will keep all those souls busy for an eternity?
I thought that your god boy had the Universe taken care of, whats with the requirement of servants?
And the only alternative to servitude is eternal suffering? Sounds a lot like something men would make up to keep ignorant people in line...

Anything worth being revered as a god should be able to stop my existence completely. I'm not really in a mood for ridiculous hypothetical back and forth while I suggest better things than hell while you make up excuses why that won't work.

RE: If Not Hell then what?
To paraphrase the respected theologian Capt. James Tiberius Kirk, what need does God have, for servants?

Also, what reasons do you have to believe that you'll be happy in Heaven? According to conventional Christian theology, Lucifer and a third of the angels (plus however many defected to marry Earth women in Genesis 6) were willing to face everlasting torture in Hell rather than remain in Heaven.

Consider that, according to your story, when they initially made this decision they weren't bat-winged fanged horrors, they were holy angels. Consider also, that they lived in Heaven when it was at its most perfect (no "sin" to blame any flaws on), in the direct presence of your god. All you've got to go on are some vague and heavily symbolic descriptions in a book.
