"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Ok then, you have an interesting question to ask Christians. So where do you go to get some answers? An ATHEIST forum Undecided

And then when atheists answer your question you insult us. Pretty feeble minded some might say.

First of all, the only time the term "33" appears in that whole jumble of bullshit is a reference to Matthew 22-33. Nothing whatsoever about 33 years which is what I thought.

But an even bigger problem for you is this

Quote:The office of Rabbi required a person to be particularly well versed in the scriptures and the Talmud

The talmud did not even begin to be compiled until long after your phony godboy was allegedly nailed up. How could he be an expert in a book which had not been written? This drivel looks like it was put out by some xtian asshole who knows little more than you...which is precious little.

Are you always so easily fooled?

Islam does not mean peace. Only "to submit"

Islam contains a lot of messages permitting and even encouraging violence.

Stop trying to twist what things "mean" just because you personally choose to ignore those messages that do encourage violence.

How come none of these stories - in any myth cycle or fiction - ever discuss the basic necessities of life...like finding a bathroom. No one ever seems to need to pee on epic (or in Jesus' case, not so epic) adventures. And none of the women ever complain after sex about having to clean up a man's 'gift' to her. I find this highly unrealistic.

There aren't a hell of alot of "protagonist takes a piss" scenes in movies either, for exactly the same reason. As for the second bit..well, you're just watching the wrong movies. Rule 34.

The headline should instead read - "Two men on trial today for unrelated killing sprees" - they're both crooks.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I do not see the problem you are claiming minnie, can you explain. Because as you said the Talmud was not COMPILED or rather offically written down/Recognized till the second century. Which would be a problem if the works of the talmud did not orginate in the oral traditions of the Hebrew priests/Rabbis. But as the jews were primarily a people who perseved their works and practices orally, the Talmud did not need to be written down till after the destruction of the temple and the those who would have sought to dillegently perserve this work in the traditions of the people up to that point.

It's not like you to be so misinformed.. Oh, but it is par for the course for you to twist dates and reason to undergird your points..

You asserted that in order to be a rabbi...and rabbinic judaism does not begin until the temple is destroyed in 70...some 40 years after your fictional godboy allegedly met his end...he had to to study a book which did not exist. Moreover, the talmud is composed of two parts, the mishnah (3d century) and the gemara and the gemara was not written until the 6th century.

I've known for a while that you, like most jesus freaks, make this shit up as you go along but at least try to learn what the Jews were doing. After all, you stole their god for your own purposes.

We are not talking about Rabbinic Judaism. We are talking about Jesus being identified as a Rabbi. Two different things Mr. Strawman.

Quote:he had to to study a book which did not exist.
The Talmudic principles were orally taught. No where does it say one must study from a book in order to know the talmudic/mishnah principles being discussed here. (If you read the two links provided you'll know it is acceptable to use the terms interchangably; Talmud, Mishnah)

Quote:Moreover, the talmud is composed of two parts, the mishnah (3d century) and the gemara and the gemara was not written until the 6th century.
It's funny how your dates keep migrating 100 years everytime dates are discussed. At the rate your going if this conversation lasts just a few more turns you'll be claiming that the Talmud was written in 1959.

Appearently your projecting. (The making stuff up/bending facts part to support your arguements.)
