We Hates the Dishes Precious....

I have to do the dishes. I am not happy about this unfortunate turn of events, and would gladly pass it off.
I only need one good reason/excuse to force my unappreciative, wretched, heathen offspring to do aforementioned dishes.
Beer, beer is a good reason, but I used it last time.

Yeah.. Time to clean tomorrow, and there's a pile of dishes that have been waiting for too long. I think there might be a small, furry and stinking monster living with the plates and cutlery. I don't really want to find out. Well, fortunately I get vinyl gloves cheap from work and have bleach and a steam cleaner at the ready. Tomorrow there will be war!!

Your suggestion is worthy of note....
Alas... My apartment was built before the advent of these wonderful machines designed to automagically clean my pottery.
Besides, I spent good money to raise two healthy, well cared for, indentured servants.
I used the guilt/pathetic pleading angle. Always good in a pinch, just gotta be careful not to overdo it or over use it.
Got out for $5.

You spent much more money on those servants than you would on a relatively recent apartment where you could fit such an appliance... You messed up your priorities!

Nonetheless, I feel that it was a good investment, as I have made no long term plans for retirement. I have worked diligently to instill a sense of parental responsibility in my offspring. One of them is doomed to having me permanently ensconced on their couch, and or spare room. Comfortably playing FFVII and demanding clean, crisp sheets, Brandy, and a fast wifi connection for streaming porn all day.
Revenge is sweet. My grandchildren will be the recipients of many a Hershey bar and red bull. Right before bedtime of course.... heh heh heh .....

There have been times in my aimless wanderings when I was privileged enough to have access to these cleaning marvels, I still found the task of loading them to be mind numbingly tedious. Amazing the workings of the human psyche.
