Yep. The point isn't whether you were correct, CA, which was always a possibility. The point is jumping to conclusions. I may be pushing an overly politically correct state of mind, but I do think we need to pause before we assume a Muslim who did something insane did so because of Islam. If Rayaan did something crazy, I would never think Islam first. I would think he had lost his mind. This is just an example, but do you see anything radical about Rayaan? Do you think it is possible that he or someone like him in terms of religiousness could do something terrible? I do. Of course, not in the sense that I think it likely. I just think it possible and that possibility stops me from jumping straight to Islam bashing.
