To put it differently.
Every human on earth strives for satisfaction, joy, happiness. Lets take drug addict for example. Is he having pleasent moments when using drugs to stimulate release of endorphine - yes. Does he fell satisfied, happy - no. Does work, sport, care for family, power, fame bring satisfaction and joy - yes. Love is when you care and forgive somebody. Lust - drug. Love somebody is hardest thing to do but it brings highest joy, satisfaction eventually. Love is devotion, serving. Love - altruism. People serve to attain happiness in the end. Hope is to attain "true" happiness someday. And this hope is what makes us keep moving and searching. Quote:Does work, sport, care for family, power, fame bring satisfaction and joy - yes. These things don't bring satisfaction to everybody. What brings someone happiness and satisfaction is completely subjective and relative to the person. (April 20, 2013 at 6:23 am)Joel Wrote:Progress is satisfying in any form. I know that my mother was not satisfied as her divorce progressed.
