Sometimes, nightmares are awesome

Well, not so much nightmares as bad dreams. I'm pretty sure there's a difference.
Just last night I had one where an old and dear friend smoked a cursed cigarette, was possessed by the spirit of Baal, and proceeded to chase me around trying to set me on fire. While I was in my underwear.
Absolutely terrifying? Yes. Completely awesome in many ways? Also yes.
Anyone else ever have this?

Oh sure, I have had plenty.
One was were I was Neo, protecting some people, who hid in a cave on the top of a mountain. Suddenly there was a horde of zombie-like creatures attacking and I had to face them alone in order for the rest of the people to get away. It was terrifying but kind of awesome.
I have also quite often post-apocalyptic dreams, and they are really interesting though frightening.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. I realise that that's sarcasm, but a small part of me kind of hopes you actually did have the exact same dream. I shouldn't be the only person to have experienced that; it was wicked awesome.

I have just woken up from one involving fist-fighting the Lich King with Thurston Moore. I don't think it really qualifies as a bad dream, but it certainly was awesome.

I have a lot of zombie apocalypse dreams. Eventually comes inevitable death, so I just make out with a chick on top of a car waiting to be eaten at the end. Those are pretty cool.

File that under "Drastic Understatements", shall we? It should be noted though that a vast majority of people have dreams like these. What's weird about us is that we're capable of remembering most of them.
