Equal marriage for all?

Or 5 men and 3 women and so on and so forth.

And this would also provide a better level for the family unit as the death or departure of a member would not be as injurious to the whole as it would be in a monogamous relationship.

One could, one could, but I'd rather postulate 5 women and myself. Any more penis than my own is both "all the penis" and "entirely too much penis". Mind you, I'd rather it stay within the realm of postulation.....because 1 is more than enough for me, and roundabout 1 and a half I'd start losing my shit. There's already far too much piffer in this house as it is and only one of them is legally obligated to me (do you have any idea how much toilet paper I go through...motherfucker. Id hate to see what sort of damage 3 -or 5- full grown vag'es could do munching on a roll of the pillowy stuff).
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Obviously not right now, or they'd be allowed to marry in this sort of way.

Obviously we think they should have the same rights.

I disagree thesummerqueen the 'magic words' of marriage mean a lot to many including the LGBT communities in the UK who have campaigned to not have their relationship classes as different from monogamous heterosexual relationships...

Agreed. Just what is it with the theistic ideal that they should be SO obsessed about who is fucking whom? Could it be sexual repression? Envy of a two year old mentality who ins't having wondrous shit happening to them NOW?

Quite frankly I waited for 45 years to find a male who was comfortable with himself, who wasn't frightened of what knowledge I have, my curiosity and ability to understand and the knowing that "I don't know half of what I don't know! But then I DO know an awful lot" There is also the fact that I had made it through 45 years on this rock and I was still here.

WHY should there be a religion (a trinity of a religion) that is absolutely terrified to the point of keeping women suppressed?

I'm just saying that I think it should be allowed and can be a good thing. It seems obvious but many people class it as a bad thing...

They're not 'magical' enough to keep a relationship together. They're 'magical' only in the sense that they give those couples the same rights as far as taxation and benefits, etc, as straight couples. So yes, I can see why they'd want to be recognized under the law. You're missing the point of my statement. Religion should have no bearing on how inheritance and marriage laws get made in a secular country.

Dawd you are being captain stupid today aren't you? The classification is not the issue you dumbfuck.... the RIGHTS BEFORE THE SECULAR LAW OF THE SPOUSE is what is at issue.

Dodgy Typical stupid idiotic idealism. No one cares about who fucks whom. The FINANCIAL issues for the surviving partners of a union is at issue BEFORE THE SECULAR LAW!

Sheeeesh! Somone give me a hammer! Angry

I think we are in agreement thesummerqueen...

I was in fact also advocating that religion shouldn't affect the law making: hence who I'd suggest legal recognition of thruples if they wished... It happens in other countries but I suspect there would be a stuffy reluctance to it in the UK based purely on unconscious religious baggage...
