As always you've missed the point Minnie. I am saying that there is a libary full of historical texts, that identify and verify Christ, but because of the libary's location ALL of those works are dismissed as religious texts. No one outside of the RC chruch has taken the time to pour over each and every one. So you can not say nothing exists that supports a historical Jesus.

@2:50 The host points out that the religious leaders did not believe in the resurection. Then He quotes a question that the Saducees mockingly asked Christ. (as if the idea of the resurection was based in later greek works) Appearently the host does not know or simply failed to mention that the Pharasees did believe in the after life/resurrection, while the Saducces did not. (That is why they are sad-u-cee? This is all sunday school stuff)

@3:00 He introduces Cellcus and his great body of work.. that has not survived, but the work refuting it did @ 3:30. All to point to a old source that dismisses the concept of resurection in the time of Christ. But again, The fundemental difference between Pharasees and the Sad-U-Cees, was their belief in a after life/resurection.

Well, we really only have two choices. It's either myth or legend, and in the absence of an actual person to congeal a legend around - that leaves us with myth. We could spin it as an assumed legend (it's not required that the character existed - only that people believed that the character existed - to be qualified as legendary as opposed to mythical). CMT theory dilineates between the authors conception of the narrative (proposed as mythical) and it's reception (as legendary, obviously, at some point).

Undoubtedly, christianity is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on this planet.

Well lets give human gullibility the credit, they built off of the prior superstition of Hebrews who drew off the polytheism of that prior. And our species once was painting animal gods on cave walls.

We really cant blame any human back then for buying either polytheistic crap or monotheistic crap, they simply did not know better. But to say all our evolution which allowed us to make all those bad guesses as a species, can be overturned in one generation is a bit lofty. I think the more people learn and rely more on technology and science the less relevant religion becomes.

I think instead of blaming, we need time to wake up from a very bad dream, the delusion we self inflict called superstition. It is a self inflicted Hoax, all of it no matter what religion or what point in history. The Egyptians falsely believed the sun was a thinking being for 3,000 years.
