RE: The Separation of Church and State
You stupid atheist Bastards who think that the phrase separation of Church and State is contained in the United States Constitution are insane and psychotic. The First Amendment to the Constitution states "CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW RESPECTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF". Now the phrase separation of Church and State is contained in that stupid letter that Jefferson wrote to the Danbury Baptists. But that stupid letter is totally irrelevant to the United States Constitution.

We don't. You show little understanding of the constitution when you say that just because a phrase isn't in it that an idea is not. The first amendment simply describes separation of church and state. The constitution is a secular document, with no mention of God at all. Making no law concerning religion or prohibiting the exercise of it is the DEFINITION of separation of church and state. Learn more U.S. History, it would do you some good.

Give Albert a little time and he will amaze you with his lack of understanding of many subjects.

James Madison was the primary framer of the First Amendment (Jefferson was ambassador to France at the time but Albert never lets facts interfere with his rants.)

Madison noted:

Quote:Madison's summary of the First Amendment:

Congress should not establish a religion and enforce the legal observation of it by law, nor compel men to worship God in any manner contary to their conscience, or that one sect might obtain a pre-eminence, or two combined together, and establish a religion to which they would compel others to conform (Annals of Congress, Sat Aug 15th, 1789 pages 730 - 731).

This is why the government needs to keep any of your xtian shit out of public life. You bastards can't be trusted.
